The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)'s online grievance management system, iGRAM (IGNOU Grievance Redressal and Management), aspires to provide students with a faster, transparent, and more accessible way to resolve academic and administrative issues.

Student Feedback 

Former and current students have reported that:

• Responsiveness: It has been reported to be much better at resolving issues than email and phone, as you at least get a response - however, useful or useless it may be. 
• Redirection: If you choose the wrong options, usually you're at least guided to the correct option.
• Multiple Attempts: If you're not sure where to send your grievance and it is time-sensitive it may makes sense to submit multiple grievances. 
• Re-raise Grievance: if you're dissatisfied with the response - track your grievance number and mark it as not satisfied with the reason - you don't need to generate a new grievance.

IMPORTANT TIP: Students report that sometimes the grievance handler asks you to wait and doesn't get back - in such a case, after a reasonable period of time passes - re-raise the old grievance again.
